Founded 1976 The New York Transit Museum is dedicated to telling and preserving the stories of mass transportation – extraordinary engineering feats, workers who labored in the tunnels over 100 years ago, communities that were drastically transformed, and the ever-evolving technology, design, and ridership of a system that runs 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

For the new identity design of the museum, we have decided to give it a more modern touch with the aim of attracting more youth since a large percentage of those who visit us are children and young adults. The new design is more colorful and fun. The logo was inspired by the map used by the MTA so there is a greater connection between the museum and public transport in New York.
